Who are Jon's Real Bitches?

This blog and the accompanying Twitter account - JonsRealBitches - were inspired by an act of hate and turned into an act of positivity. Someone chose to begin spewing lies and hatred toward fans of Jonathan Knight from the safety of anonymity behind their computer, and rather than be disappointed or hurt or angered, two of the people attacked decided to turn the tables on negativity. Too much hate exists in this world and the only true way to fight hatred is with love and acceptance. And so, Jon's Real Bitches was born.

All words exist to elicit some sort of emotional, mental or physical response in people. A basic principle of JRB is that words can only hurt you if you allow them to do so. If words provoke negative feelings in you, why not turn a negative word into something positive? True, the word bitch has extreme negative connotations but we at JRB strive to defy convention. To us, the word bitch will embody the strength of a woman, her creativity and her power to display kindness and common sense in the face of people trying to pull them down into the darkness.

So what is a bitch here?

Beautiful.
Intelligent.
Talented.
Creative.
Honest.

Our hope is to create a safe haven for all New Kids on the Block fans, not just Jon's fans. Everyone has an equal opportunity to submit blogs here, be heard, share pictures, stories and make friends. Submit anything you like to jonsbtchs@gmail.com for the blog, as long as it is positive.

Rules:

1.) Check your ego at the door. That means we will not tolerate hatred or negativity toward other fans or toward NKOTB members, band, dancers or employees. We are equal here, drama free and everyone is welcome.

2.) Unconfirmed gossip is not tolerated. There will be no speculation about the private lives of fans or NKOTB members if the topic is unconfirmed directly from the people. No positivity comes out of gossip.
